Publication online is one of the easiest ways to get your work and your name out there.  There are literally thousands of venues for you to publish your writing online.  However, one challenge is the sheer volume of competition you have.  It’s important to find a niche and market yourself directly to that particular arena.  There are nearly endless options for niche markets.  Think about what you are most interested in, what you most enjoy writing about, and what your writing style is.  Publication online could mean being a regular columnist or contributor in any number of specialty publications, writing everything from poetry to blog posts to news stories.
